How Mr. Bizzy Helped Me Catch Up on Two Years of Taxes

I have been chronically behind in my Taxes. Struggling from year to year to file and still filing months behind the deadline. I have begrudgingly paid thousands of dollars in late fees each tax season, only able to be upset with myself for my lateness.  I have paid bookkeepers to sort receipts for me, I have paid my account to sort receipts for me, I have paid teenagers in my family to sort receipts for me.  I have printed account statements to minimize the amount of sorting I have to do. I have opened multiple bank accounts to keep spending in categories separate, and I have vowed never to be in this position again!  Yet year after year, I file months – and sometimes even 2 years behind. 

In May of 2025, already 2 years behind in my Taxes, with the discovery of Mr. Bizzy Tax System, I realized that the problem I needed to solve was the input and NOT the sorting. 

Nothing can really solve the sorting problem (at least for me). Once you have the receipts collected in a pile, you HAVE to sort them. 

The problem to be solved is NEVER having to sort, to categorize, to find, to search, to keep, to track, to remember in the first place!  

Mr. Bizzy solves this problem for me. 

I saw their booth at a trade show in May, 2025 and when I heard the system described:  “You take a picture of the receipts and their AI bots categorize and create filterable spreadsheets for you.  They also record a copy of these images and can send them to you in PDF format or excel.csv format at anytime requested, sorted by category or any other minute detail that you can ask AI to perform…”.  It took me all of 3 minutes to have the app purchased – with the first picture being that of the receipt of my purchase!

At the time of purchase I was behind 2 years in taxes.  With the extremely responsive customer service team it took me a very short learning curve to create the subcategories in which to file the previous 2 years taxes.  Admittedly, doing the pictures for each receipt of the previous 2 years was tedious, but there was no way around this as I was 2 years late, I still had to sort. 

However, the categorization was simple, after a few inputs per category the AI bot learned how to recognize receipts itself and eliminated the need for me to sort each receipt. Changes were simple, and when I got stumped 2 or 3 times with a concept, again, their customer service team was ultra helpful and calm. 

The game changer for me was online purchases.  I no longer have to save each email invoice in a tax folder, either by downloading it as a PDF, printing it, or saving it in a drive folder AND hard drive in case of future audit.  I can simply forward that email to Mr. Bizzy and they capture the attachment, the category and classify accordingly.  I used to have to go into my email, click the attachment, download it and save it to hard drive (or google drive), and manually calculate it as part of my expenses.  No more!  

I got through 2 years of taxes in a quarter of the time. And sent my accountant the bizzy generated spreadsheets which were neatly organized to calculate HST separately from the purchase totals, just the way my accountant likes it. Each receipt described with a description you can search in a zip file if he wants to see the actual receipt.  If he wants to, he can simply change the individual receipt category in the spreadsheet and the totals are easy to find again. Of course, I DON’T do any of that. I send the spreadsheet, that’s it. No more hunting for extra expenses. 

 The best part is using the system for my CURRENT 2026 taxes. This is how the system is truly designed to be used and it shows.  

We are 10 months into 2026 and I am 10 months COMPLETE in my Taxes!  It’s NOT like keeping all of your receipts to save in a shoebox for a movie night 1x per month and making the time through exhaustion and mental burnout to snap pictures of receipts (never could do that anyway!). 

I go the the gas station, pump, get my receipt, sit in my car and PROMISE not to drive off until I open whatsapp and snap the pic of that receipt.  

I make an online purchase, check my email for the confirmation order (as I normally would) and make a COMMITMENT right then and there to press the forward button and send it on. No additional ANYTHING required. Just forward to Mr. Bizzy. 

I no longer have to go through hundreds of emails in categorized tax folders at the end of the year to hunt, find, remember, sort, re-remember, follow up, track, check off, change checklist, re-find, re-remember and all of those ENDLESS tasks that took me MONTHS to finalize at the end of each tax season, resulting in late fees and interest charges.  

I am happy to say that I will STOP being the CRA’s ‘BEST PAYING CUSTOMER’ this tax season and FINALLY, finally, finally get my taxes off in time.  

For anyone who just CAN’T get their Tax Life together with any other system. For anyone whose spouse gets mad at them for the wasted money in tax interest charges! For anyone reading this who FEELS MY PAIN because you are living this dreaded tax cycle existence… Mr. Bizzy can ACTUALLY work.

Nothing is foolproof, but if you can muster the least amount of discipline possible and snap a picture and forward an email, you can have success with Mr. Bizzy’s Tax System!
