For data updates follow the instructions below:
– Please note that your expense categories will be completely replaced by the new list you email.
– Make data updates in the emailed ExpenseCategory_xxx.csv file.
– When adding new rows, copy your USER_ID in the row in column A.
– You can delete rows from the list.
– Do not change column titles.
– Reply to the email received and attach the updated ExpenseCategory_xxx.csv file.
– Do not remove the ExpenseClassRef# from subject when replying.
Important Tips
Your expense category list shows descriptions that were read from your receipts, invoices and statements. The description column may have the invoice# or location# with the vendor name. To classify all expenses from a vendor in a certain way, put the vendor name only in the description column and the required classification.
For example, to always classify all Microsoft expenses as Technology, you only need one row with the short description “Microsoft” and classification “Technology”.
